Our story

It all started with a simple belief: history deserves to be united.

As children, we sat in classrooms, listening to stories about the Parthenon Marbles - their beauty, their history and the injustice of their separation. But to us, it wasn’t just another history lesson. It was a call to action. We grew up with one dream: to bring them back home.

That dream became the Youth Committee for the Reunification of the Parthenon Marbles - Remarble Greece, a movement fueled by young advocates who refused to accept a broken history. We saw an injustice that has lasted for centuries and decided to take action. What began as a vision quickly became a global movement, uniting youth, scholars, artists, and cultural leaders in the fight for reunification.

We believe that heritage is not just about the past - it shapes our identity, our future and the values we pass on to the next generations. The Parthenon was built as a symbol of unity, yet its sculptures remain scattered, divided by history but not by fate. Through education, awareness and strategic action, we are mobilizing the new generation to stand for cultural justice.

From grassroots advocacy to international collaborations, Remarble Greece has grown into a powerful force for change. Our work is fueled by the belief that what was once taken, can and must be restored. Every voice matters and together we are proving that young people are not just heirs of history - we are its guardians and changemakers. This is our time. We are the generation that will reunite the Parthenon Marbles.

They belong in Athens. It’s time to bring them home. It’s time to Remarble Greece.
