The New Generation Reclaims Its Cultural Legacy

On Saturday, December 7, 2024, members of the Youth Committee for the Reunification of the Parthenon Marbles had the honor of visiting the Acropolis Museum, immersing themselves in the timeless splendor of Greece’s most treasured cultural heritage.

Guided by esteemed experts, including Mr. Angelos Syrigos, Member of the Greek Parliament, f. Deputy Minister of Education and Professor of International Law & Foreign Policy, alongside with Mrs. Irini Stamatoudi, Professor of Law at the University of Nicosia, participants gained profound insights into the historical, legal, and ethical dimensions of the Parthenon Marbles' reunification.

The fight for their return is not merely a matter of history - it is a defining issue of cultural justice. Today’s youth are not just spectators of the past; they are active agents of change, reclaiming their heritage and demanding the rightful restoration of the Parthenon Marbles to their home.

This visit reaffirmed a powerful truth: the preservation of cultural identity is a cause that transcends generations. United in purpose and vision, we will continue to advocate, inspire, and act - until the Parthenon Marbles return where they belong.
