ParthenonEdu at Pierce - The American College of Greece
As part of our ParthenonEdu initiative, in February 2025, Chrisa Roma and Ioanna Pasia, members of the Youth Committee for the Reunification of the Parthenon Marbles, visited the American College of Greece – Pierce to engage students and educators in a thought-provoking discussion on the untold stories of the Parthenon Marbles.
Through dynamic conversations, they explored the cultural, historical and political dimensions of the Marbles’ displacement, shedding light on why their reunification is not just a Greek issue but a global one. By sharing insights into the ongoing international efforts for their return, Chrisa and Ioanna ignited a dialogue on cultural justice, encouraging students to reflect on their role in safeguarding heritage.
This visit is part of a larger movement to empower young voices across Greece, ensuring that the next generation is informed, inspired, and ready to take action in the fight for the Marbles’ rightful return.
The future of cultural heritage is in our hands; let’s reclaim history together
